The 16mm AirBlocks are Harken’s smallest block. Perfect for small synthet-
ic control lines found on high-tech dinghies. The patented bearing system
uses stainless steel balls in a captive grooved race and has a 113kg safe
working load. Headstrap spreads load making them a compact, tough
block. Hardened stainless steel inner race for maximum strength to-weight
ratio. High-strength stainless steel sideplates distribute load evenly, and
resist corrosion. Max. line diam. 5mm.
Strong and Compact Blocks! Low-friction, lightweight, strong, reliable and
affordable. These compact blocks have very high working loads for safe,
easy trimming no matter how hard the wind blows. Perfect for the small-
diameter lines favoured by racers. 30% lighter with a 60% higher working
load than Harken Classic blocks. Open AirBlock design eliminates unneces-
sary material and weight. Ball bearings, sheave, and sideplates are UV sta-
bilised with carbon black for maximum protection.

29mm Carbo AirBlocks
Use as a mainsheet block on small dinghies, or as low-friction control block
on any size boat. Maximum line diameter 8mm.
40mm Carbo AirBlocks
For jib and mainsheet systems on high-performance dinghies and for loaded
control lines on small keelboats. Maximum line diameter 10mm.
Carbo Ratchamatic Blocks
Load sensing ratchet blocks that roll freely in both
directions under low loads and automatically engage the
ratchet as loads increase. Shifting between ratchet and light-
air modes is seamless. Ratchet engagement may be adjusted
to a higher or lower load according to strength and sailing
style. The holding power of the 57mm block is as high as 10:1,
and maximum line diameter 10mm.
Cam-Matic Ball Bearing Cam Cleats
Multiple rows of high-load ball bearings reduce friction so
cams open easily for snap-down, rather than draw-
through cleating. The cam horns and smooth V-shape
guide line for easy entry. Rounded teeth hold securely by
squeezing rather than cutting into line to reduce wear.
XAS & XTS Rope Clutches
Reliable and easily maintained rope clutches that combine
a high strength ergonomic handle and effortless release
under load whilst being friendly to a wide range of rope
sizes. Both XAS & XTS are side mountable with optional
side mount kit (available on request).
Cruising ESP Blocks
Complement our existing blocks in looks and
functionality, but simpler in design and construction. Sheaves
feature axle bearings to handle high static loads, and are ideal
for halyards or limited purchase systems on cruising boats.
